Córdoba, Spain

Córdoba was the capital of Muslim Spain. Today the mezquita (or mosque) is its most famous feature.

The courtyard is filled with orange trees.

Also in the courtyard were some ancient olive trees.

The mosque is famous for its rows and rows of double arches.

The mosque was later converted into a cathedral. Mixing two differnt styles of architecture.
