Rutherford's den

Earnest Rutherford was the physist who discovered the atom.

He was born in New Zealand and studied Canterbury College in Christchurch, part of the University of New Zealand. During his studies there, he was given a small room to conduct his experiments. This room is now known as Rutherford’s Den.
